Analyzing the past 2009TH year we can note that despite the consequences of the global financial crisis, Orienbank managed its solvency and competitiveness at the appropriate level. This year was characterized by expansion in the number and maintaining quality of Bank services, providing favorable terms to customers and an increase in net profit, as the final financial result.

In 2009TH OJSC “Orienbank” actively engaged in transforming the economic structure of the Republic of Tajikistan, contributed to the formation of a market economy. I am confident that in 2010TH formed traditions will be laid into the base of Bank’s activity.

The regulatory capital of 2009TH was increased for 1.1 times as compared with 2008TH indicating of confidence in the bank and its reliability. During this period the Bank's assets increased to 1.03 times, net profit amounted to 8.9 million somoni.

OJSC “Orienbank”, acquiring the sound position of financial institution, laid at the heart of its credit policy the principle of social orientation of investments in the industries which provide vital functions of cities and regions. The bank got the possibility to enlarge services on crediting owing to an increase of the resource base and also as a result of an active holding of publicity measures by means of mass media and skilful interest-bearing policy. Equally with traditional kinds of crediting the bank serves clients by consumer lending, pawn and auto-crediting. And the bank gives the credit by the view of overdraft.

Today transfers via Anelik, Migom, BLIZKO, FASTER, Leader became more popular as Migom or Western Union.

OJSC “Orienbank” pays special attention to restoring public confidence in bank deposits. In 2009, for effective customer acquisition, and to guarantee investor income, regardless of inflation, the bank had raised interest rates on deposits for individuals.
